Service Description

Art Fundamentals (Ages 9–12) Designed for curious and creative young artists, Art Fundamentals builds a strong foundation in visual art while encouraging personal expression and artistic confidence. In this 1-hour weekly class, students will explore essential techniques in drawing, painting, mixed media, and sculpture while learning the core elements and principles of art, including line, shape, colour, value, texture, space, and composition. Through fun, age-appropriate projects inspired by a variety of artists and styles, students will strengthen their observation skills, experiment with new materials, and develop their own unique creative voice. Whether they're looking to improve their skills or simply enjoy making art, this class offers a supportive and inspiring environment to grow as an artist.
